Boss Jock Radio Dateline: August 1st, 1971 – "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" debuted on CBS-TV, and was inspired in part by the nightclub routines of Louis Prima and Keely Smith. The show ended in May, 1974 and their marriage ended soon after.
