As the british invasion was in full swing during 1965, in Canada a new act made their mark in the US, with a catchy band name THE GUESS WHO?, and a spirited record “Shakin’ All Over.” The gentleman who played bass guitar was JIM KALE, placing his creative grooves on the group’s hits such as “These Eyes,” “Laughing,” “Share The Land,” and many more. This week, on August 11, Jim celebrates his 79 birthday. In 1984, I had the pleasure to emcee The Guess Who in concert, and spend some time with Jim, who is a very humerous guy indeed!
