Napoleon XIV takes us away…again!

Saluting a number of of rock’s greats, who passed on this week, including HERB COX of The Cleftones (May 6, 2019), as I had the privilege to sing “Little Girl Of Mine” on stage with him in 1984, Herb said “Eddie, you sing the bass line,” then he asked me to do the dance step…ouch! It was this week in 2010 (May 7), losing one of the most identifiable voices, JOHNNY MAESTRO who guided The Crests and Brooklyn Bridge to stardom. On May 9, 2020, at age 87 we bid farewell to the ‘architect, emancipator, and proclimator,’ of rock & roll…LITTLE RICHARD. And in 1983, also on May 9, one of my heroes, DANNY RAPP of Danny & The Juniors passed on. I initially me him in 1976, when Dick Clark introduced me to the act, at a show in Hershey PA. Thru the decades, I performed, emceed, and worked with the group on many occasions.
