He was the original “Big Man In Town,” TOMMY DE VITO, founding member of THE FOUR SEASONS, who would have celebrated his 93rd birthday on June 19th.  Sadly, he passed on September 22, 2020. In the mid 1950’s, Tommy was the backbone of the act, and was aboard at the group’s inception as ‘The Four Lovers’ on RCA Records, then the group signed with Vee Jay in 1962, as ‘The Four Seasons’ emerging with success into their heyday on the Phillips label. Tommy left the group in 1970, but the legacy of this act was documented by him and intended to be a book, which became the basis of the Broadway smash and movie “Jersey Boys.”
